Bruce Densmore

Bruce has close to 30 years of UFE training experience and has been a full-time UFE instructor since 1999. He marked in the CICA's UFE comprehensive case marking centre for 13 years and served several terms on the Syllabus Sub-Committee, a predecessor of the Competency Map Committee. He was also coordinator of ASCA’s Finalist Preparation Program for 5 years and a university professor for 17 years.

Bruce is the author of UFE Success -- Mastering Competency Based Testing and authored an article on UFE preparation in CA Magazine.

 

Bruce's philosophy is to give candidates the necessary skills and the positive attitude required to be successful on the CFE.

 

Bruce is the longest serving member on the ICANS council and was the Institute president in 2015-2016.  He is also a volunteer member of the Halifax Regional School Board audit committee.

 

Bruce and Doreen live in Windsor Junction, Nova Scotia. Their sons, Kyle and Ryan, attend university. Being empty nesters, Bruce and Doreen look forward to increased travel.
