Tammy began her career in accounting as an auditor with a Big 4 firm but soon realized that education was her passion. She has been involved in training students to prepare for the professional exams since 1995, the year she began working with Densmore. Tammy was a marker under the legacy UFE program for 10 years and has taught courses for ASCA and CPA Canada's legacy bodies for many years. She is a full-time faculty member at Dalhousie University, where she has twice been awarded the Dalhousie University Faculty of Management Teaching Award.
Tammy lives in Halifax with her daughter and husband. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys yoga and volunteering as a Saint John Ambulance volunteer with her golden doodle, Jewels, who is a therapy dog.
